The Heritage Chinese
Language School is registered with the Saskatchewan Government and a member
of various multicultural organizations
The School provides both Mandarin and Cantonese classes for students age 5
and up (including adults) and High School Credit Course. In additon, the
school offers students an opportuity to further explore their culture
through performing arts classes. The purpose of the group is to share
Chinese culture with the community and provide students with a sense of
pride in their heritage.
The Regina School of
Chinese Studies offers a wide selection of both Cantonese and Mandarin
classes. It provides language training with a compulsory Christian
education for all interested Canadians. The Chinese culture is an integral
part of the language classes with activities like kite making, Chinese
calligraphy, Chinese painting, Chinese handicrafts, and Chinese games. The
school currently has approximately 110 students and 13 teachers.
